Synopsis: As a woman gets stranded on a highway at middle of the night, she faces a dilemma to go back to a known shelter where she got physically manhandled or face the consequences to be with a group of unknown miscreants who are lustfully ready to tear her apart
About the Director: Prabal Chakraborty is a writer-director, from West Bengal, India. Though he previously earned an Engineering degree in Computer Science, he found his true calling in the world of film. It is an interest he has avidly pursued in the United States while he was working in New York City. After completing courses in film making and editing at New York University, he embarked on a journey, entering the industry by collaborating with like-minded colleagues in the New York City’s vibrant community of independent filmmakers. All his short films have been selected for multiple international festivals. Currently he lives in India and makes independent short films. His last short film “Sampurak” (The Other Half) was selected at the Indian Panorama section of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI, Goa), 2018. It has also been selected at more than 25 national and international film festivals till date.
